As more faculty at MacEwan University move towards including community projects in their scholarly activity, creating meaningful community connections is essential. However, establishing these connections is a long and complex process. This presentation will examine the intricacies, challenges and joys of creating community partnerships and relationships with community members and agencies outside MacEwan University. Staff from MacEwan Career & Experience and the Office of Research Services will discuss how they can support faculty in creating community connections and throughout the Community Engagement process.
