The Office of Emergency Management is pleased to announce that on-campus first aid training has resumed after a lengthy pause due to COVID-19. Whether you’ve never taken training before, or are in need of recertifying your current certification, one of the following options will meet your needs:

Original (two days)

  • New dates: Wednesday, April 21 and Thursday, April 22, 8:30 to 4:30 p.m. both days
  • Tuesday, April 27 and Wednesday, April 28, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both days – FULL (registrations being accepted to waiting list)

Recertification (one day)
*Please note that if your first aid certification has expired, you will need to complete the original training.

  • Monday, April 26,  8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Complete details, including registration, for the above sessions are available through macewanlife.macewan.ca. Please check this website regularly, as additional training dates for late spring/early summer will be posted as details are finalized.

Please be assured that safety measures (including the wearing of masks by all participants, double the physical distancing, and zero physical contact with other participants) will be in place to ensure the safest delivery of this training.
