COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on everyone’s mental health. With it being a very uncertain and disruptive time, it is common for individuals to experience heightened anxiety or stress.

It is important to make our mental health a priority and to take care of our health and wellness. To support you in this, Human Resources will be offering a series of webinars for all staff and faculty, facilitated by the university’s Employee and Family Assistance Program provider, Morneau Shepell. Mental Health and Wellbeing: Coping Strategies During COVID-19
The experience of the COVID-19 outbreak is a traumatic event that can have short term and long-lasting impacts on our mental health. This one-hour session will address the common responses to the COVID-19 outbreak and the mental health impacts we can expect in the workplace. The session will look at practical techniques that we can all apply as individuals to address how the trauma manifests in our lives.
