Update: Deadline extended

MacEwan University is offering an incredible opportunity to staff, students, and faculty to help our Edmonton community by becoming a Heart and Stroke Basic Life Support instructor at no cost to you!

With support from the Alberta Heart & Stroke Endowment Fund, we have created the Building Capacity and Building Community initiative, which aims to offer instructor training to MacEwan’s community. Once participants have completed their training and have become certified Heart & Stroke instructors, they will have the opportunity to teach Basic Life Support courses to organizations within Edmonton in need of the training and support.

Participants are not required to have any prior knowledge in life support. This opportunity is open to absolutely anyone in the MacEwan community with an interest in the topic and a willingness to help people.
