Join us for EDI Week March 20-24! The week kicks off with our Supporting Victims of Hate Crimes and Incidents workshop, as well as a virtual presentation by Overture with the Arts called Tracking Black Canada: Amber Valley. We will also host our first in-person celebration of our 2023 IDEA Leader Award Winners and recognize our winners from previous years, who we were unable to celebrate in person.

Various departments and units from across campus will also be hosting events and sessions as a part of EDI Week, including Anti-Discrimination Response, Facilitating Difficult Conversations in the Classroom, and a Children’s Book Reading on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. The week will end with a Diversity in Jazz Concert performed by MacEwan music students!

We are looking forward to a wonderful week of celebrating diversity and supporting inclusion at MacEwan.
