mêskanâs Blitz is a series of webinars that are designed to provide instructors with ideas and strategies on how to incorporate different elements of the digital learning environment into their teaching and learning activities.

Exploring the different forums available with the Forum tool
In this session, we will take a quick look at the four different forum types (Single Simple Discussion, Standard Forum, and Q&A Forum and Standard forum displayed in a blog-like format) and how you can use it to structure student discussions.

All Blitz sessions are online during lunch hours (12 p.m.). The topics for the rest of the 2023 Winter term are:

  • March 16 – Assignment grading workflow
  • March 29 – Providing students with accommodations or extra time for exams and tests in mêskanâs
  • April 13 – Removing a bad test question and regrading students’ tests
  • April 26 – Peer review using the Workshop tool
