mêskanâs Blitz is a series of webinars that are designed to provide instructors with ideas and strategies on how to incorporate different elements of the digital learning environment into their teaching and learning activities.

The first session is scheduled for January 19 at 12 p.m. and we will kick it off by showing you how to use the Book tool for organizing and presenting content. You will learn how to create and edit a book, add chapters and subchapters, and include multimedia elements such as images and videos. The demo will also highlight how to customize the book layout and add navigation and accessibility features.

All Blitz sessions are online during lunch hours. The topics for the rest of the 2023 Winter term are:

  • February 1 – Creating flexible branching activities with the Lesson tool
  • February 16 – Exploring the different forums available with the Forum tool
  • March 1 – Marking guide vs. rubric
  • March 16 – Assignment grading workflow
  • March 29 – Providing students with accommodations or extra time for exams and tests in mêskanâs
  • April 13 – Removing a bad test question and regrading students’ tests
