The Office of Emergency Management is offering free fire extinguisher training to MacEwan employees and students.

The first part of the training (mêskanâs) will prepare you with basic knowledge of the classes of fire, the different types of fire extinguishers at our university, and the safe use of a fire extinguisher.

The second part (hands-on) provides trainees with the opportunity to use a state-of-the-art training system equipped with sensors to put out a digital flame with a laser extinguisher.
