Over the next year, students, staff or faculty may undertake travel as part of the university experience. Those participating in university travel outside the “Greater Edmonton Area” must adhere to the Travel Policy and ensure that all steps leading to departure are completed, including travel authorization and registration with MyTrips.

MacEwan University has contracted with International SOS (ISOS) to provide travel assistance services for the university community traveling abroad on university business or sponsored activities. International SOS provides medical, safety and security advice.

Travellers are strongly encouraged to download the International SOS Assistance app and set up a profile using their MacEwan email address – this will allow you to enter your trip, receive travel alerts and access resources.
