On February 22, MacEwan University is launching MyCreds™, a network that provides students with a virtual “credential wallet” to access and distribute secure educational documents. The network is owned by ARUCC (Association of Registrars of the Universities and Colleges of Canada), of which MacEwan is a member.
Through this project, MacEwan is implementing digital transcripts, parchments and badges, which will be available for students to securely share with other institutions and organizations. As a MyCreds institution, MacEwan will be able to receive digital documents from other institutions.
On February 22, undergraduate transcripts and School of Continuing Education transcripts will be available with parchments for new graduates being released in June 2022. As of February 15, materials will be available in the Campus Solutions Training & Instructions Self-enrol course in BBLearn in the Student Views section. The materials will show the student experience and how they access and use MyCreds.
