MacEwan’s Research Ethics Board (REB) is seeking qualified applicants from all faculties and schools to serve as members. This committee can be a very meaningful way to fulfil part of your service requirement. As part of this role, you will contribute to the review and approval of new research brought before the REB to ensure it adheres to current ethical standards.

REB members must:

  • Attend one, 1.5-hour full board meeting per month (September – June)
  • Spend an average of 3-5 hours per month reviewing study submissions
  • Serve for a 2-year renewable term
