CHARM’s objectives include, but are not limited to:
Provide harm reduction related resources to key areas on campus.
Deliver harm reduction programming that addresses the intersections between safer substance use, sexual violence prevention, sexual health promotion, mental health promotion and injury prevention.
Provide education and prevention training for the MacEwan University community.
Provide opportunities for students to plan events and initiatives that address substance use concerns.
Monitor and evaluate CHARM effectiveness to strengthen the approach towards reducing harms on campus.
Raise awareness about current substance use concerns affecting MacEwan University.
