211 is available 24/7 by phone, text and chat. The service is free, confidential, and available in over 170 languages over the phone.
AHS Addiction Helpline
The Addiction and Mental Health Helpline is a confidential service that provides support, information and referrals to Albertans experiencing addiction and mental health concerns, including problem gambling.
The service is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of nurses, psychiatric nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, and psychologists. It operates 24/7 and is available to all Albertans.

CAPSA’s All People, All Pathways groups provide a safe and inclusive community of support for those who are questioning their relationship with substances.
Distress Line
The Distress Line provides confidential, non-judgmental, and short-term crisis intervention, emotional support and resources to people in crisis or distress. They also support family, friends and caregivers of people in crisis.
The Distress Line is available 24/7.

Kids Help Phone is Canada’s only 24/7 national support service. They offer professional counselling, information and referrals, and volunteer-led, text-based support to young people in both English and French.
