Designed for faculty and staff, this course delves into understanding mental health as a continuum, recognizing signs of mental health shifts, and implementing strategies for self-care and supporting others. By participating in this course, you will contribute to fostering a supportive campus community where mental health is prioritized.
Learn to
- Describe mental health as a continuum
- Recognize signs in yourself and others of a shift in mental health
- Reflect on your current mental state, identifying tools that have been used & identify new tools to support their own mental health
- Identify ways to care for others
- Create a learning and working environment that is supportive and understanding
- Identify resources for additional support
This course is a blended learning program, meaning you have two components to complete.
1) eLearning on Mêskanâs
This online portion will take you approximately 30 minutes to complete. Please complete this eLearning before the in-person session, as it provides the foundation for classroom learning.
