Pedagogical Inquiry and Practice is now open for submissions for the Spring/Summer 2026 issue!

Pedagogical Inquiry and Practice (PIP) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) in Canadian post-secondary education. Following the success of our inaugural issue, we invite faculty to submit for our 2026 issue.

We welcome contributions that address the diverse and creative ways post-secondary educators inquire into, reflect on, and transform teaching and learning. SoTL work is grounded in disciplinary contexts, so we value contributions that situate inquiry, reflection, and descriptions across the disciplines. SoTL’s interdisciplinarity is at the core of how we communicate insights about teaching and learning, so we encourage submissions that recognize the diversity of the higher education audience.

• Submissions open: October 1, 2025
• Submission deadline: January 15, 2026
• Notification of acceptance: April 2026
• Publication date: June 2026
