On or around July 7, 2025, Marigold crews will begin overnight utility work on 104 Avenue between 105 Street and 107 Street.
Vehicle access on 104 Avenue between 105 Street and 121 Street has been temporarily reduced to a single lane in either direction.
Pedestrian access is maintained; however, detours are in place. Please follow project wayfinding signage in the area.
Work will occur during overnight hours (9 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Saturday and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday) and is expected to last one week.
This work can involve continuous or lengthy processes such as concrete pours and utility work. We at Marigold incorporate noise mitigation measures for construction activities where possible. Marigold makes every effort to mitigate disruptions, where possible, including but not limited to:
- Incorporating noise mitigation measures for construction activities
- Tailoring noise mitigation to the location and kind of construction activity
- Scheduling noisier work for daytime hours
- Limiting the size of equipment, where feasible
- Regular equipment inspections and proper mufflers
- Adjusting work methods
- Changing back-up alerts to strobe lights instead of beeping
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
Drivers:
- Traffic on 104 Avenue between 105 Street and 121 Street has been temporarily reduced to a single lane in either direction.
Pedestrians:
- Pedestrian access will not be impacted by this work.
- Please observe all project wayfinding signage in the area.
Other impacts:
- Work will occur during overnight hours (9 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Saturday and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday).
- There will be noise associated with this work including that of heavy equipment and increased construction vehicle traffic in the area. Every effort will be made to reduce the impact to the public.

- This work will require the use of light plants. Crews will ensure that these lights are not directed into traffic or residences.
- This work is expected to last one week.
Marigold Infrastructure Partners is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions.
