We have redesigned and launched our Cyber Security & Privacy Awareness training for 2025! This training course is mandatory for all current and new full-time continuing staff and faculty members and should take no more than an hour.
As part of our commitment to strengthening and improving Cyber Security & Privacy Awareness across the university, the Information Security Office and the Information & Privacy Office are excited to launch our new training program through paskwâwi-mostos mêskanâs. This program covers the latest cyber security threats and equips you with essential knowledge to protect our digital environment.
The training offers two options:
· A challenge exam for those who prefer a brief overview and can prove their knowledge. Successfully completing the challenge exam will allow you to bypass the full training program. (~20 minutes)
· A comprehensive training program for those who desire or require a deeper understanding of Cyber Security & Privacy topics. The comprehensive version is intended to be longer than the challenge exam. Even if you pass the challenge exam, you have the option to run through the comprehensive training program at your convenience. (~40 minutes)
Please take your training when you have the time and please stay safe out there on the world wide web!
From Thomas Wong Matthews (Director, Cyber Security & Chief Information Security Officer) and Jennifer Stanton (Manager, Information & Privacy Office)
