Due to technical challenges with the CRA’s new processing system, many employers – including MacEwan – are experiencing delays in file processing and posting. The CRA has assured us they are actively working to resolve this issue.

MacEwan University successfully submitted T4 and T4A files to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) on February 12, 2025, and has received confirmation of submission.

What This Means for You:

  • You can still file your taxes as usual. If you use tax software that automatically retrieves T4 information from the CRA, you will need to manually enter your T4 details until the issue is resolved.
  • Your T4 is available on PeopleSoft via Employee Self-Service > Payroll > T4/T4A Slips.
