The Francis Winspear Centre for Music will be taking over operations of the Conservatory of Music on July 1, 2025. Since MacEwan will no longer be operating the Conservatory, funding for Conservatory lessons through the Access to MacEwan Activities (AMA) program will no longer be available.

What does this mean for your Access to MacEwan Activities fund requests for Conservatory lessons?

For the current (2024/25) fiscal year: All Conservatory lessons must be prepaid. Only lessons scheduled to take place within this fiscal year (ending March 31, 2025) will be eligible for reimbursement.

For the next (2025/26) fiscal year: Funding for Conservatory lessons will end. Submissions for AMA funding towards Conservatory lessons will be accepted until May 5, 2025, and all lessons covered by this fund must take place before June 30, 2025.
