Discover the power of research to drive social change at the Community Connections Conference, hosted by MacEwan University’s Faculty of Health and Community Studies.
On January 22, the Robbins Atrium will transform into a hub of scholarly exchange, beginning with a special blessing ceremony by Kohkom Beverly Keeshig-Soonias.
Throughout the day, faculty and students will present their research through paper and poster sessions, showing how they are advancing knowledge in their respective fields.
Community Connections culminates with our keynote speaker, Dr. Jorge Yamamoto, Professor of Psychology at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, addressing the critical intersection of happiness, community well-being and public safety across developing and developed nations. All MacEwan faculty, staff and students are invited to attend this showcase of scholarly excellence and community-focused research.
