We’re excited to announce that MacEwan University’s eighth annual Consent Action Week (formerly Sexual Violence Awareness Week) will take place from October 7–11. This week features a series of events dedicated to empowering our community with knowledge about consent, fostering understanding about sexual violence prevention and providing support for people impacted by sexual violence.
The week kicks off with an opportunity to learn from diverse campus and community organizations at our Consent Skill Fair. Our dynamic program of events includes a panel of academic and community experts, a student-led art gallery, a breath and movement class, and drop-in self-care and wellness spaces throughout the week.
All are invited to come together in learning and dialogue as we work to foster a culture of consent on campus. Join the conversation, take action, and be part of a community committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment at MacEwan!
