As we gear up for the new term, we are excited to announce a valuable resource for all MacEwan University employees: “It Takes All of Us for Employees: Creating a Campus Community Free of Sexual Violence” (ITAOU for Employees). This comprehensive online course, developed by the Office of Sexual Violence Prevention, Education and Response (OSVPER), is designed to empower staff and faculty with the knowledge and skills needed to foster a campus culture rooted in consent and support.
The course is self-paced and comprises four key modules: Introduction to Sexual Violence, Consent and Ethical Relationships, Bystander Intervention and Responding to Disclosures of Sexual Violence. Enrol through mêskanâs to start the course, and upon completion, you’ll earn a certificate acknowledging your commitment to creating a safer campus environment.
