On or around May 6, 2024, Marigold crews will be starting road works at the north side of 118 Street and 119 Street on 104 Avenue.

To accommodate this work, access to/from 104 Avenue from the north side of 118 Street and 119 Street will be closed. Traffic on 104 Avenue between 122 Street and 110 Street has been shifted south, and lane reductions are in place. Access to Edmonton Brewery District and Unity Square Centre will be maintained via 116 Street, 117 Street, 120 Street, and 121 Street. Turn movements will be maintained where access permits.

Pedestrian access will be maintained on the south side of 104 Avenue. Please follow project wayfinding signage in the area.

This work will occur during daytime hours (7 a.m. – 9 p.m., Monday – Saturday and 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Sundays), however, the traffic pattern will remain in place until the work is complete.

This access closure is expected to last until the end of September.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:

Drivers:

  • Access to/from 104 Avenue from the north side of 118 Street will be closed.
  • Access to/from 104 Avenue from the north side of 119 Street will be closed.
  • Traffic on 104 Avenue between 122 Street and 110 Street has been shifted south.
  • Access to Edmonton Brewery District and Unity Square Centre will be maintained.
  • Turn movements will be maintained where access permits.

Pedestrians:

  • Pedestrian traffic will be maintained on the south side of 104 Avenue.
  • Some crosswalks across 104 Avenue will be closed.
  • Please observe all project wayfinding signage in the area.

Other impacts:

  • Construction will occur during daytime hours (7 a.m. – 9 p.m., Monday – Saturday and 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Sundays).
  • There will be noise associated with this work. Every effort will be made to reduce the impact to the public.
