The role of President and Vice-Chancellor is responsible for providing strategic leadership to MacEwan University, guiding the institution’s vision, strategies, and progress, and reports directly to the Board of Governors.
Dr. Annette Trimbee commenced her term on August 1, 2020, and her current tenure concludes on July 31, 2025. The Board of Governors has initiated a review process to consider her reappointment to a second term, in accordance with the President Search & Selection, Review & Compensation Policy. and the Presidential Reappointment Procedure.
As part of this reappointment procedure, President Trimbee has presented her accomplishments during her first term and proposed goals for a potential additional term, which are available for review on the university website.
