As you are completing your December expenses, we are pleased to announce an increase in the mileage reimbursement rate. Effective December 1, 2023, the reimbursement rate for use of your personal vehicle while on MacEwan business will increase from the current $0.505 / km to $0.55 / km. This 9 per cent increase recognizes the increased costs of driving your personal vehicle, and remains consistent with Government of Alberta directives.
Our policy will be updated shortly to reflect this increase. In the meantime, you may begin using this rate effective December 1.
