MacEwan University is excited to announce the Enhance Campus Connectivity project that will bring improvements to the Wi-Fi network on campus. The project will be carried out in multiple phases. Phase one involves the upgrade of the network switch infrastructure on campus.

To minimize disruption to faculty, students and staff, we are scheduling work over a five-day period, during evenings and weekends, starting after 5 p.m. Where classes are scheduled, work will start after classes are completed on those dates. These improvements will enhance the learning experience for our students and provide a more reliable network for our faculty and staff.

Schedule:

Saturday July 15: Building 5 – Third Level, Building 6 – Second Level.

Sunday July 16: Buildings 5 and 6 – First Level, Building 7 – First, Second, and Third Levels, Building 8 – Second Level.

Monday July 17: Robbins Centre – First and Second Levels.

Tuesday July 18: Robbins Centre – Second, Third, and Fourth Levels.

Saturday July 22: SAMU – Second and Third Levels, USC – Sixth Level.

If you have any questions about the project, please contact the Technology Support Desk at  techsupport@macewan.ca or create a ticket or use our live chat at HelpCentre.MacEwan.ca.
