Starting from May 1, 2023, MacEwan University will adopt Kaltura Virtual Classroom as its new video conferencing platform, replacing Collaborate Ultra. Please remember to delete the Collaborate Ultra tool link from your mêskanâs courses.
Kaltura Virtual Classroom is a cloud-based video conferencing platform that offers collaboration and engagement tools such as screen sharing, whiteboard, polling and breakout rooms. It provides instructors with everything they need to host virtual classes, facilitate student group work and hold office hours. Additionally, staff can take advantage of its event and meeting functionality to deliver webinars and connect with both internal and external audiences, making it versatile for a variety of uses.
