February 13-17 is Healthy Relationships Week at MacEwan! This week is all about creating thriving connections and learning to show up in relationships as the best versions of ourselves. Check out our events to gain new skills and insights for building healthy, caring relationships and communities.

This week features a presentation by Adam Erasmus, and opportunity to make your own Valentine’s Day card with the Peer Health Education Team and MAVEN Peer Education Team, and a Rainbow Heart Tea and Talk for 2SLGBTQ+ students.

At the heart of this week is our Relationship Skills Lab, starting at 10 a.m. Tuesday through Friday in the SAMU Student Lounge. All are welcome to step into the lab and take part in short, interactive learning activities that will help you level up your relationship skills! These bite-size sessions explore topics such as dealing with rejection, setting boundaries, apologizing and managing conflict. Whether you attend one lab or all nine, expect to leave with tangible skills and tools for building healthy, satisfying relationships. Check out the lab schedule for more information! SAMU’s Breakfast Club is providing breakfast each morning, and snacks will be available throughout the day!
