Collaborate is a web conferencing tool used for teaching and learning at MacEwan that was first integrated with Blackboard Learn and now with our new digital learning environment, paskwâwi-mostos mêskanâs.

During the pandemic, some faculty recorded their Collaborate sessions so students could review them at a later date. To manage access to recordings and costs associated with storing recordings, ALL Collaborate recordings made prior to January 1, 2021 will be deleted on September 12, 2022.

If you would like to save your Collaborate recordings, follow the instructions on how to download Collaborate recordings and upload the recordings to Kaltura, our streaming video platform.

You should also download any Collaborate recordings you would like to save from your Blackboard courses. Once access to Blackboard ends in December 2022, you will no longer be able to access Collaborate recordings made from Blackboard courses.
