Pre-construction activities for the City Centre Campus Exiting Project are set to begin on June 13. The purpose of this project is to address exiting capacity deficiencies across campus along with building pressurization issues.
Please refer to the attached plan in conjunction with the work schedule below:
- June 13: setup of Building 8 covered walkway and second-floor pedway hoarding (Note: hoarding will only cover the southern half of the pedway). This setup scope will take approximately one week.
- June 20: setup of main floor hoarding. The two Building 7 and the southern Building 8 vestibules will be closed and remain closed until project completion (Spring 2023). During this time, access to Building 8 will need to be from the northern vestibule or alternative entrances (e.g. SAMU). Building 7 access will be from the clock tower entrance. Signage will be posted indicating possible access routes.
