I am pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Fung to the position of General Counsel.

Jason comes to us from the Department of Justice and Solicitor General, Government of Alberta, where he served as a senior legal counsel and supported multiple ministries on a broad spectrum of legal matters, including large-scale commercial projects. Along with his breadth of experience, Jason is well recognized for his expertise in technology and intellectual property law.

The breadth of Jason’s experiences and legal expertise will be invaluable to the university as we look to our future and advance Teaching Greatness, Alberta 2030.
