Facilities is incredibly proud to announce that we have maintained our ISO 9001:2015 certification for nine years and ISO 50001:2018 certification since 2019!

Facilities’ quality and energy management systems were independently audited by SAI Global, a leading global independent certification body, and confirmed as being in conformity with the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems and ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management Systems. ISO certification has been driving many of Facilities’ objectives and initiatives. We are very pleased to have achieved this milestone.

The successful attainment of these certifications demonstrates Facilities’ ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest levels of service quality, resource conservation, energy performance, consistency to meet stakeholder and regulatory requirements and most importantly to seek continuous improvement.

The Facilities team is committed to minimizing the university’s environmental impact by optimizing energy consumption. Facilities will actively participate in the common effort and beyond the regulatory requirements towards a sustainable future.

We are pleased to share this achievement with the MacEwan community to demonstrate Facilities’ ongoing commitment and our ability to provide consistent, compliant and exceptional support to our internal and external stakeholders.

With the incredible knowledge and support of our team, we were able to overcome the constraints of the ongoing pandemic to achieve recertification.
