Ever wondered what it would be like to be less self-critical and a little kinder to yourself?
Many of us are gifted with an inner critic that always knows just what to say to make us feel small. It might whisper that we’re failing, or that we’re not good enough. Where does this voice come from, and what can we do to care for ourselves when it shows up?
Join two counsellors from Wellness and Psychological Services to learn about self-compassion, a research-based approach to supporting ourselves through difficult thoughts and feelings. Learn some strategies to help name and tame your inner critic so that you can cultivate self-compassion and focus on what matters most to you.
All MacEwan community members with an interest in self-growth are welcome to attend this webinar on November 4 from 12 to 1 p.m.
