In the Course (Re)Design Institute (CRI), an intensive, hands-on, week-long workshop, participants apply learner-centred design principles and strategies to the design or redesign of one of their courses.
Modified for the online environment, the CRI Lite will include a daily morning session that covers concept mapping and aligning learning outcomes, instructional strategies, learning activities and assessment. There will also be an opportunity each afternoon to meet with others in the CRI to incorporate peer discussion and critique systematic reflection to lead participants to identify basic assumptions regarding course design and student learning.
Note: The CRI Lite runs from Monday, May 3 to Friday, May 7. Please register by Thursday, April 29. Participants are expected to participate in all five days to get the most out of this workshop.
