The Office of Emergency Management is pleased to announce that on-campus first aid training is set to resume after a lengthy pause due to COVID-19. Whether you’ve never taken training before, or are in need of recertifying, one of the following options will meet your needs:

Original (two days)

  • Monday, March 15 and Tuesday, March 16 – 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both days
  • *New dates* Wednesday, March 24 and Thursday, March 25 – 8:30 to 4:30 p.m. both days
  • Tuesday, April 27 and Wednesday, April 28 – 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both days

Recertification (one day)*

*Please note that if your first aid certification has expired, you will need to complete the original training.

  • Monday, April 26 – 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Complete details, including registration, for the above sessions are available through macewanlife.macewan.ca. Please check this website regularly, as additional training dates for late spring/early summer will be posted as details are finalized.

Please be assured that safety measures (including the wearing of masks by all participants, double the physical distancing, and zero physical contact with other participants) will be in place to ensure the safest delivery of this training.
