A bi-annual test of MacEwan Alert will take place on the afternoon of Tuesday, March 16.

MacEwan Alert notifications are sent across multiple channels in urgent situations that pose a safety or security risk. These notifications are sent automatically to all MacEwan email addresses for current students and employees; however, the fastest way to get the information you need is through both the SAFE@MacEwan app and text message:

  • Download the free SAFE@MacEwan app from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices) to ensure that you receive MacEwan Alert push notifications, and to access the full menu of app features.
  • Sign up for MacEwan Alert text notifications by texting MACEWAN to 723389, or via the student and staff portals.
