Need to connect to Wi-Fi or have questions about BlackBoard? The new MacEwan Help Centre provides users solutions and answers to these and other frequently asked questions through a searchable online knowledge base. If users can’t find an answer, they can create a service request (i.e., support ticket) or report an issue to be assigned to a support agent.

The help centre also provides staff and faculty access to a list of their open requests and their status. Users can also add additional information or questions about their requests. Responses by the assigned agent are automatically added to the request, providing users the most up-to-date information about their question. Emails from the help centre will be from jira@macewan.atlassian.net.

The first phase of the project will focus on information and service requests for Technology Support, eLearning, Library and select activities from the Office of the University Registrar. Other areas and additional articles will be added over the coming months.

Launching February 19, 2021, users can access the help centre using the Quick Links in the portal or visit https://www.MacEwan.ca/helpcentre.
