Human Resources and the Office of Human Rights, Diversity and Equity have partnered to develop a draft Employment Equity and Inclusion Policy that will apply to all MacEwan employees.

Two virtual consultation sessions are being planned for the university community to share their thoughts on the proposed policy.

When: February 25 from 1-2 p.m. and February 26 from 9-10 a.m.

Background
MacEwan currently does not have an employment equity policy. The purpose of the proposed Employment Equity and Inclusion Policy is to outline MacEwan’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in hiring and to establish guidelines regarding the collection and use of employment equity data.

The proposed policy will be posted on the Policies Under Review page on MacEwan.ca/Policies for input prior to these consultation sessions.
