We are excited to share that we have partnered with the Center for Creative Leadership to offer the following courses for MacEwan leaders (faculty and administration): Influence, Psychological Safety and Delegating Effectively.

These courses are designed to help you navigate complex leadership challenges and strengthen your ability to drive strategic outcomes for your team. Upon completing each course, you’ll earn a digital leadership badge recognizing your achievement. Complete all three courses to receive a Leadership in Action badge – perfect for showcasing your commitment and sharing with your professional network.

Our first course in the series is Influence.

Whether it is influencing others without positional authority, influencing change or influencing your team, the ability to influence and build commitment is essential. This workshop seeks to answer the question, “How can we build our ability to effectively influence others across our organization?”  After completing this workshop, participants will be better able to:

  • Identify personal influence strengths and development areas
  • Demonstrate influencing tactics and methods
  • Apply an influence model to a specific influence challenge at work
