From Listing to Storytelling: How to Write the New Tri-Agency Narrative CV

The Tri-Agency is finally eliminating the Canadian Common CV, but the CV format that’s taking its place is one that few researchers in Canada will have experience writing. The new, five-page Tri-Agency CV is a significant departure from traditional, list-based CVs, as it requires written descriptions of your projects, accomplishments, impacts and influence.

This webinar will provide practical guidance on all three required components of the new, narrative-style Tri-Agency CV – the personal statement, most significant contributions and experiences, and training and mentorship section – offering strategies for researchers across various disciplines. You’ll leave this webinar with template sentences and ideas for documenting and demonstrating the resonance of your work. Please bring your questions for the end-of-webinar Q&A.

This event will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams.
