Working alone on campus before or after building hours, or on statutory holidays?
The SAFE@MacEwan app’s WorkAlone feature provides automated safety check-ins that alert Security Services if you don’t respond.
How to Use:
- Download SAFE@MacEwan (from the App Store/Google Play)
- Login with your SSO credentials
- Start a WorkAlone session with your location, duration and check-in frequency. The app will prompt you at scheduled intervals to confirm you’re safe.
- End your session when finished.
No smarthphone? Call Security Services at 780-497-5554 to check-in instead.
