MacEwan’s 2025 United Way campaign began on November 17 – and you’re encouraged to get involved! 

There are three ways you can support the campaign:

  • Donate directly to United Way of the Alberta Capital Region. You can support United Way’s programming through payroll deduction or a one-time gift. Sign up with your MacEwan email address if you are a first-time donor.
  • Support MacEwan’s Dare to Dream Bursary: This unique bursary empowers underserved youth to build a successful future, beginning with a post-secondary education.
  • Help the SAMU Pantry with a donation: SAMU provides a food pantry to help students with food security. You can drop off non-perishable food donations at bins across campus or make a monetary donation by dropping by the Pantry! 

We are so proud of the generosity of the MacEwan community, which steps up time and again to support our students – their stories speak to how our support not only eases financial pressures, but serves to motivate and inspire them.
