The Interdisciplinary Dialogue Project (IDP) is a biennial initiative that unites students, faculty, and community to explore a social justice theme through shared events and learning. The Winter 2026 theme, Food Matters, examines how food intersects with identity, belonging and equity.
Join Lindsay Whitson and Larysa Hayduk (IDP co-chairs) and Catherine Dyer for an information session where you’ll learn about the Interdisciplinary Dialogue Project and explore specific ways for you and your students to engage – both in and beyond the classroom – with these community events centred on food, culture, justice and care.
