MacEwan Sustainability is excited to share that a new recycled plastic sculpture has been installed in the main floor space between Buildings 7 and 8, just outside Sport and Wellness! Designed by Onetwosix Design and created in collaboration with ReWaste, the sculpture was made using approximately 620 pounds of recycled plastic materials, including milk jugs and cleaning bottles collected from MacEwan.
The wild rose-inspired design symbolizes resilience and renewal, like flowers pushing through cracks in pavement, and reflects our commitment to creativity, sustainability, and community connection. Go check it out, take a seat and snap a photo!
