Many instructors want to connect their teaching strategies to theoretical frameworks but may not know where to start or struggle to find the time to explore these concepts.

The Centre for Teaching and Learning is excited to present In Theory…, a professional development series designed to make learning about educational theories accessible and practical.

Each 30-minute session focuses on one theory or concept and includes:

  • A brief lecture on the theory or concept.
  • A recommended resource for those who want to dive deeper.
  • A discussion on how the theory can be applied in practice, with insights from fellow instructors.

Sessions are independent, so you can choose the topics that interest you.

Time: Mondays at 12-12:30 p.m. (online)
