Have you been thinking about the ways to develop cultural competence in your classroom and help you create a more inclusive practice?
This session invites you to begin or continue that journey. It is the first workshop in our Level 1 series, part of our ongoing program designed to support you as you deepen intercultural competence in your teaching practice and your students’ learning. We begin with why.
Together, we will
- Explore the key concepts of intercultural competence and why they matter in higher education.
- Build a shared foundation for recognizing, valuing, and engaging with cultural diversity in our classrooms.
- Lay the groundwork for future sessions that will expand into themes, content, and practical skills you can bring directly into your teaching.
This is the start of an ongoing conversation that will evolve as we engage with the complexities and possibilities of cultural diversity in higher education and our communities.
