MacEwan University’s Sexual Violence Prevention and Education Advisory Committee (SVPEAC) is seeking two faculty-at-large representatives for the 2025–2027 terms. All faculty members are welcome to apply.
About SVPEAC SVPEAC is a cross-campus committee of students, faculty, and staff committed to fostering a safe and respectful learning, working, and living environment. The committee members:
- contribute to a coordinated and cohesive approach to sexual violence awareness, education and prevention across MacEwan
- advise the Office of Sexual Violence Prevention, Education, and Response (OSVPER) through consultation and feedback
- serve as a liaison, bringing forward concerns or information from their areas and sharing back relevant updates and programming opportunities
Term: September 1, 2025 – June 30, 2027 (21 months)
Eligibility: Open to faculty of any gender with knowledge of, or interest in, sexual violence prevention and education.
Commitment:
- Five 1.5-hour meetings per year
- Optional subcommittee involvement
- Adhere to the SVPEAC Terms of Reference
