MacEwan University and the Grant MacEwan University Faculty Association (GMUFA) are pleased to announce we have reached a tentative agreement to renew the Collective Agreement until June 30, 2028. The agreement is tentative as it must be ratified by both parties before it can come into effect.

Discussions with the MacEwan Staff Union continue as we wait to hear back on conditionally supported proposals sent to the Provincial Bargaining and Compensation Office (PBCO) for review.

MacEwan University employs approximately 2,800 faculty and staff, primarily represented by the Grant MacEwan University Faculty Association (GMUFA) and the MacEwan Staff Union (MSU).
