The Information Protection Project is a joint initiative by Information Technology Services (ITS) and the Information and Privacy Office (IPO). It aims to strengthen the safeguarding of MacEwan University’s information assets to ensure alignment with our institution’s policy and procedures by classifying our information and protecting it with information protection controls. ITS is working with a consultant, Bulletproof, to implement a technology product (Microsoft Purview) to classify and protect information within MacEwan’s Microsoft 365 environment.
