Mitchell Art Gallery invites staff, students and faculty to a Coffee with the Curator on Tuesday, May 27, in celebration of our new exhibition Anna Binta Diallo: Those mountains of shadows and valleys of light. Grab a coffee and chat with MAG Director/Curator Carolyn Jervis from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Mitchell Art Gallery in Allard Hall.

This event is free to attend, and all are welcome – no RSVP is required. Coffee and snacks will be provided.

Those mountains of shadows and valleys of light features works by Anna Binta Diallo about the ancient and contemporary tools we use to map and navigate land, water and sky. The exhibition is on view from May 27 to August 8, 2025, and the gallery is open 12 to 5 p.m., Tuesday to Friday. Learn more about the exhibition on the MAG’s website.
